JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science at Penn State (University Park, PA) seeks a Researcher to contribute to advancing atmospheric techniques to determine neighborhood-scale greenhouse gas emissions and comparing these results to corresponding high-resolution inventory estimates. The successful candidate will have experience with micrometeorological techniques such as Monin Obukhov Similarity Theory and be familiar with high-accuracy concentration and flux measurements of greenhouse gases and MS in atmospheric science or comparable experience is needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in meteorology or related field.
Excellent coding skills, preferably python or matlab
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Ability to advise undergraduate students
Leadership potential
