JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking applicants for part-time job of part-time research assistant.

Job duties to include:

• designing, batching, melting, and characterizing new glass compositions

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

• obtained an M.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering or a related field
• demonstrate good knowledge of glass and ceramics
• possess relevant laboratory skills
