We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Education and Languages: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee(s) will assist the Principal Investigator of the research project “Developing and implementing a foundation AI Literacy course for pre-service teachers.” The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: · Conducting literature searches; · Working with the Principal Investigator to design teaching material, research instruments and prepare reports; · Assisting in data analysis; and · Performing any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: · For Research Assistant: A Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Education, Educational Technology, or the Social Sciences; · For Technical Assistant: At least 5 subjects at Level 2 or above in HKDSE (or equivalent), including Chinese Language, English Language, and Mathematics; preferably current undergraduate students majoring in Education, Educational Technology, or the Social Sciences; · Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); and · Preferably with experience in educational research and knowledge of the applications of AI in education Terms and Conditions for Appointment The successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract, with the possibility of renewal.
