We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration: The appointee will work semi-independently under the supervision of Dr Xun (Irene) HUANG on a research project related to brand communications and consumer behavior (Project No. R6818, titled "The Effects of Visual Cues on Consumer Perceptions in Brand Communication"). Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Conducting literature reviews and organizing relevant references; Preparing and designing PowerPoint slides for research presentations; Designing and creating experimental stimuli and related materials according to the study protocol; Conducting data analysis and assisting with data management; and Assisting with other research tasks as needed (e.g., document preparation, organizing experimental materials). Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: Conducting literature reviews and organizing relevant references; A Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, information science, psychology, or a related discipline; Solid ability to search, screen, and summarize academic literature (in English) and organize references; Proficiency in preparing and designing PowerPoint slides for academic or professional presentations, with attention to clarity and visual layout; Basic skills in designing and editing visual/experimental stimuli and related materials (e.g., images, simple graphics, or presentation content) according to study requirements; Familiarity with basic data analysis and data management (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or Python), and willingness to learn new tools when needed; It will be a plus if the candidate is able to scrape data from social media platforms (e.g., using Python or similar tools); Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to follow research protocols carefully; and Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
