Project Title - "The Prestige of Pixels: Status-Seeking Motivation and Preference for Visually Complex Products in the Metaverse" (Project No.: R6890) We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Conducting thorough literature searches and reviews related to consumer behavior research; Collecting, organizing, and cleaning consumer behavior datasets from various sources using Python; Performing web scraping and online searches to gather relevant consumer behavior data and information; Assisting in quantitative and qualitative analysis and interpretation of consumer behavior data; Preparing comprehensive research reports and summaries of empirical findings; and Collaborating with the research team to ensure accurate and timely completion of consumer behavior research projects. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: A recognized bachelor’s degree; Proficiency in Python programming and basic data processing; Experience in web scraping for consumer behavior data extraction and panel data construction; Strong expertise in consumer behavior data collection, cleaning and quantitative analysis; Hands-on experience working with large consumer behavior datasets, including data organization and preprocessing; Proficiency in literature review and academic research related to consumer behavior; and High attention to detail and data accuracy. Responsibilities
