Description: Black Diamond Equipment is looking to hire a part-time retail sales associate at our Outlet location in Tulalip, Washington!

The Retail Associate’s primary responsibility is to maintain a positive and interactive customer experience by providing exceptional guest service as part of a cohesive team. This includes in-depth, practical product knowledge of climbing, skiing and mountaineering; the ability to communicate that knowledge in a fun and educational manner, and a passion for helping customers realize their full potential in the mountains.
The ideal candidate will represent Black Diamond with pride, productivity and professionalism while adhering to policies and remaining accountable at all times, working diligently to maintain the operational and merchandising standards of the company.

• Assist customers with appropriate information, advice and service.
• Accurate entry of merchandise, payments and customer details in the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Resolve issues involving customer relations and satisfaction.
• Maintain store’s clean, organized appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Restocking and managing back stock including lifting boxes of gear.
• Open and Close store in absence of Store Manager or Retail Lead
