About the Role:
We’re looking for a professional and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team at B&Q. As a visible presence on the shop floor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
  • Prevent theft, damage, and other illegal activity by monitoring the shop floor and surveillance equipment.
  • Act as a deterrent through visible patrols and excellent customer service.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and incident response when required.
  • Liaise with store management and emergency services when necessary.
  • Prepare and maintain security reports.

Working Hours:

  • This is a part time rota
  • You will be required to work Sundays every Sundays 1000-1600 and over time available nearby stores Dartford, Eltham.

Requirements:

  • Previous security experience preferred (retail security is a plus).
  • Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle incidents professionally.
  • Reliability and flexibility.
