QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, ideally in outpatient or telehealth environments
  • Strong understanding of billing practices related to mental health or dementia care preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR and billing platforms (Athena strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Revenue Cycle Specialist to temporarily support our billing, coding, and reimbursement processes during a key growth period. This temporary, part-time position (estimated 4-6 weeks) will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and efficient revenue cycle operations, contributing to Rippl’s financial health while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist in daily claim submission
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate documentation and coding (CPT/ICD-10)
  • Answer & return incoming billing questions from patients and/or caregivers
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase billing efficiency and reduce denials
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable billing regulations
