Job Details Job Location: Adult Campus Rollins - Atlanta, GA 30329 Position Type: Part Time Education Level: Graduate Degree Job Shift: Nights Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services Please note that this position is Part Time and does require licensure-LPC OR LCSW. Provide on-call skills coaching support to residential, PHP, and IOP clients experiencing an increase in distress or dysregulation; assist in the development of skills plans to manage an increase in distress; assist in the coaching and modeling of skills Utilize clinical assessments and clinical judgement to determine if there is an increase in symptoms, risk, or safety concerns at their current level of care; assess the need for additional support or intervention Triage client concerns through consultation with the on-call clinician, back-up on-call clinician, and on-call prescriber as needed Facilitate patient transfers (voluntary and involuntary) to the hospital, completing appropriate clinical documentation and logistical tasks; communicate updates to the on-call team, clinical team, and client family members Communicate with the clinical team through verbal and email communication regarding any concerns or challenges during the shift Complete follow up check-in’s with client at the residence when needed Assist in the completion of room checks, monitoring of clients, room searches, and other residential tasks as assigned when time permits Provide monitoring and support for residential clients transferred to the ER for medical evaluation To complete all documentation in accordance with guidelines. To practice ethically and to comply with facility policies and accreditation standards (i.e., Joint Commission, ORS, etc.) When appropriate, to ensure that client needs are being addressed in regard to improving their independent living skills. Assist, teach and/or model necessary and appropriate daily living skills to program participant Other duties as assigned Qualifications Master’s degree in related field (i.e.; Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.) required. Full licensure (either current LPC or LCSW) required. Prior experience in partial hospitalization/day treatment setting for clients experiencing severe/chronic psychiatric illness preferred Prior experience working with individuals with co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders preferred
Responsibilities
Provide on-call skills coaching support to clients and assess their clinical needs. Facilitate patient transfers and communicate updates to the clinical team and client families.
