Every member of our staff plays a key role in ensuring that each patient leaves our office feeling cared for and confident in their treatment. We’re seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our surgical care team. This position offers a dynamic, hands-on opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while supporting a skilled clinical team. Occasional travel between our three locations—Hoover, Jasper, and Clanton—is required, with all travel time fully compensated. Responsibilities Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care in accordance with established protocols and physician instructions. Administer and monitor local and IV sedation under physician direction. Assess patient conditions and adapt to changing clinical needs with professionalism and efficiency. Prepare and maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment. Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care to ensure comfort and understanding. Maintain detailed, accurate documentation and uphold all privacy and confidentiality standards. Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed to support the overall flow of the practice. Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and a team-first attitude in a fast-paced surgical setting. Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of one year of experience. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused demeanor. Interest in or experience with oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures preferred. Willingness to cross-train and assist with front office or clinical support tasks when needed.
