OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, assisting with sales processes, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively and demonstrate strong communication skills and a passion for retail. The ideal candidate will be available to work at short notice, primarily on alternate Saturdays with availability for holiday coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a genuine interest in helping others.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a retail setting.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and cash management.
  • A team player who is also self-motivated and able to work independently when required.

  • Clean and maintain the shop environment to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Perform filing and organizational tasks as needed.
