Description

START DATE: 20TH OCTOBER 2025

Salary: £25,185 - £25,989 per annum
At Holy Trinity, we are incredibly proud of our children, our dedicated staff team, and the nurturing environment we’ve built together.
Our aim is for every child to become the best that they can be—and we use the 6 Nurture Principles to support this goal throughout our school community.
Due to an existing vacancy in our admin team, we are seeking a reliable, self-motivated, and organised School Office Administrator to help support the smooth running of our busy school office.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a warm and welcoming team, where no two days are the same and your role makes a real difference to the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff—both in person and over the phone
  • Maintain accurate school records for pupils and staff using SIMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Oversee the school admissions process, including managing enquiries, liaising with parents and local authority and maintaining accurate records
  • Provide general admin and clerical support, including reception duties and school communications
  • Update the school website and Facebook page and send texts and emails
  • Assist with basic financial tasks such as raising purchase orders and processing invoices
  • Oversee dinner money and breakfast club payments
  • Coordinate DBS checks and support with staff recruitment administration
  • Manage mail and other day-to-day office tasks as required

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A friendly, flexible approach and strong team spirit
  • Experience in an office environment (school admin experience is desirable but not essential—we will provide training for the right person)
  • A commitment to supporting our school’s values and nurturing ethos

ABOUT US

At Holy Trinity, we value the wellbeing of our staff just as much as our pupils. As part of our commitment to supporting you, we offer:

  • A generous Local Government Pension Scheme
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Programme, offering confidential support and resources for personal or professional matters
  • A strong focus on staff wellbeing, including a positive working environment and regular opportunities for training & development
  • A welcoming, nurturing school community where every team member is valued
  • A supportive team culture with opportunities for professional growth
  • An enhanced DBS check arranged and paid for by the school
