PART-TIME SCIENCE TEACHER – LOUGHBOROUGH

Working Pattern: 3 days per week (part-time)
Salary (pro-rata): £18,000 – £21,000 per year (FTE: £30,000 – £35,000)

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a passionate Science teacher to join a specialist education setting in Loughborough that works with children who find mainstream school overwhelming—for a wide range of reasons.
This isn’t just about delivering the curriculum. It’s about making science relevant and exciting for young people who may have lost confidence in learning. You’ll teach small groups (typically 5–8 pupils) or deliver 1:1 sessions—giving you space to tailor your approach and build trust.
You’ll be part of a small, supportive team who are there to deliver a well-rounded curriculum that balances academic progress with personal development.
