Position/Titles: Security Officer for construction site Job Description: As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding properties, deterring criminal activity, and ensuring the safety of businesses, construction sites, and residential communities, etc. Your role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, and excellent communication skills to handle security incidents effectively. osition: Security Officer – Split Shift (Paid 8 Hours / Work 6 Hours) We are hiring for two part-time split shift security positions. These schedules are ideal for candidates looking for shorter working blocks while still receiving a full day of pay. Each shift consists of two 3-hour work periods per day, but officers are paid for a full 8-hour shift. Shift A Schedule: Monday – Wednesday Morning Shift: 3 hours Evening Shift: 3 hours Total Hours Worked Per Day: 6 hours Total Paid Hours Per Day: 8 hours Weekly totals: 18 hours worked 24 hours paid Shift B Schedule: Thursday - Saturday Morning Shift: 3 hours Evening Shift: 3 hours Total Hours Worked Per Day: 6 hours Total Paid Hours Per Day: 8 hours Weekly totals: 18 hours worked 24 hours paid Summary ✔ Work 6 hours per day ✔ Get paid for 8 hours ✔ Split schedule with morning and evening coverage Compensation: $21.00 per hour Security Guard Responsibilities: Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations. Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access. Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety. Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations. Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns. Security Guard Qualifications: Valid BSIS Guard Card (required). Current with BSIS Compliance i.e: 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate 32-hour continuing education certificates Clean driving record and ability to operate company/site vehicles safely. Experience working graveyard shifts. Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
