Description Schedule Monday through Friday 2pm-6pm The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. This role monitors facility access, enforces policies, and responds to safety concerns without the use of a weapon. Requirements Key Responsibilities Monitor and control access to the facility (main entrance/exit points) Greeting and check in visitors, vendors, and guests Conduct routine patrols of the building and surrounding property Enforce company policies related to safety and security Monitor security cameras and report suspicious activity Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies appropriately Complete incident reports and maintain security and visitor logs Assist with emergency procedures (evacuations, weather, etc.) Ensure doors, gates, and access points are properly secured Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous security or related experience preferred Strong observation and communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations Basic knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to patrol indoor and outdoor areas Ability to respond quickly to incidents when needed
