Patrol Officer for Home Construction Site in Victorville Service hours and Shift Times: (Subject to Change) * Shift Times: * Weekends: 6am - 2pm // 2pm - 10pm Qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview. All interviews will be conducted at our Riverside Offices, No Exceptions. * Requirements: * Must be 25 years old, Valid CADL, Clean DMV (Licensed at least 3 yrs) * Valid/Active Guard Card * Able to conduct security patrols on foot and operating security vehicle If you qualify reply to this with your CADL and Guard card number for verification. Required: 1 Year of Security Guard Experience Valid Driver’s License Social Security Card Valid Guard Card Completed Driver License Report Security Vehicle Patrol Officer Security Vehicle Patrol Officer is responsible for providing listed security services at assigned locations duties include, but are not limited to: Vehicle patrol of exterior areas of assigned locations Foot patrol of interior/exterior areas of assigned locations Observe and report suspicious activities and persons Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs) Enforce and follow rules, regulations, policies, procedures Respond to emergency situations Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines Use of innovative, wireless technology for checkpoints and requirements, immediate synchronization, reports, forms and locations in real-time (client specific sites) Position Requirements Qualified Security Patrol Driver applicants will meet the following criteria: Must be minimum 25 years of age and have 0 points on DMV report for the last 5 years High school diploma or equivalent required Must possess a valid Guard License or have applied and subsequently be issued such a license prior to employment As a condition of continued employment, employee must always maintain current active status of BSIS Guard License and must always carry the license while on duty Must display exceptional customer service and communication skills Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites Climb stairs or ramps occasionally during shift Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds Constant use of both hands and arms in reaching/handling/grasping/fingering while using phone, notepad, writing reports, and other administrative tasks Constant use of eyes (correctable vision to normal level required) to observe, read, interact with public and co-workers, view security monitors; includes hand/eye coordination Read, understand and speak English; constantly use speech and hearing (correctable to normal level required) in communicating with public/co-workers, giving and receiving instructions, using phones Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions Work in various environments including adverse outdoor conditions such as cold, rain or heat Constant mental alertness and attention to detail required while setting priorities and following up on assignments Must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment) Qualified candidates will be interviewed for immediate placement.
