Achen Henderson (AH) is seeking experienced, detail-driven Part-Time Senior Bookkeepers / Accounting Managers to join our fast-growing GURU bookkeeping team. Responsibilities

THE ROLE: WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Part-Time Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the full accounting lifecycle for a portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses, all of whom rely on Achen Henderson for timely, accurate, and actionable financial reporting. Specifically, you will:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for your clients’ full-cycle accounting, overseeing all bookkeeping deliverables and managing their expectations with professionalism and clarity.
  • Collaborate with our GURU Bookkeeping team to ensure timely and accurate bookkeeping, month-end closes, reconciliations, and client reporting.
  • Liaise with our Canadian tax groups to ensure that your clients receive expert guidance on year-end, payroll, HST/GST filings, and other technical matters.
  • Implement and maintain basic accounting controls that support clean and accurate books.
  • Provide strategic direction and support to your bookkeeping team, ensuring all client deliverables meet our high standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and client efficiency across your portfolio.
