JOB SUMMARY:

As a Server at Mel’s Diner, you’ll play a key role in delivering an excellent dining experience. You’ll be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and efficient section—all with a positive and upbeat attitude.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant or diner setting is preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic
• Availability for weekends, and holidays is mandatory

• Greet customers with a warm, friendly attitude and guide them through the menu
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
• Deliver orders efficiently while ensuring food quality and presentation
• Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction
• Process payments accurately using POS systems
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and fellow team members
• Assist with opening, closing, and side duties as needed
• Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
