Description Kindred Fare - A Spirited Cookery is a full-service restaurant located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with a focus on scratch cookery using seasonal & local ingredients. We have been featured in Forbes, Wine Spectator, Eater, and have won "Best Farm to Table Restaurant" four years in a row by The Finger Lakes Times Readers' Choice Awards. We are extremely popular with locals & travelers to our region with positive online reviews and guest feedback. We have a strong beverage focus with cool climate wine & spirits & are highly engaged in the local industry. On Monday nights our culinary team works together to build a three-course themed prix fixe, something our community looks forward to each week. Server We are currently looking for experienced server & food runner to work with us 2-5 nights a week from June through October at our lively & social eatery. Serving shifts begin at 3 PM or 4:45 PM depending on the day. What we can expect from you: 4+ years of previous serving & food running experience - high-end & high-volume setting preferred An updated resume showing a history of long term tenure with current or previous employers has wine, beer & cocktail recipe knowledge - advanced & regional knowledge preferred to stay current & creative with culinary, beverage & hospitality trends to complete side work & cleaning duties to standard to maintain a clean and organized dining room & all FOH stations strong customer service skills effective communication & team work - you need to be able to work with all service staff all while communicating with the kitchen and guests be a professional: remain composed - you are “on stage” at all times that you are in the dining room part-time availability & willingness to be flexible with our team as needed What you can expect from us: hourly wage + tips employee discounts professional development & incentive programs flexibility in schedule with advanced notice great parking!
