JOB OVERVIEW

Our restaurant is a family restaurant that has been operating for more than 20 years. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for the food industry.
Customers often tip servers a lot, and you keep your own tips from dine-in tables.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required (students are welcome).
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures in the restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist colleagues as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus.

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain knowledge of food preparation standards.
  • Take phone orders and estimate the pick-up time.
  • Stock up items, sauces, drink, and food for later usages.
