  • To have an enhanced DBS (this will be done on your behalf prior to start date)
  • To be available during the hours agreed
  • To attend training as and when required and as directed by management
  • To be proficient in Microsoft Office systems such as SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

THIS ROLE IS PART-TIME: WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY AND EITHER TUESDAY OR THURSDAY 9AM - 5PM

We are looking for a pro-active, organised, and highly motivated individual to join our diverse organisation.
Safe Haven Sussex CIC provides accommodation and support to vulnerable single adults, with support needs. There are two projects within the service; a low-medium support project and a smaller medium-high support project (Seagull) which is partially commissioned by BHCC. We have several departments within the organisation, consisting of around 40 staff members and over 160 residents. The role of the Administrator is to work alongside the Senior Administrator is to ensure that administrative processes for all departments are working smoothly and efficiently.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To be available in the office Wednesday, Friday and either Tuesday or Thursday 9am - 5pm
  • To answer phone calls and pass on messages to the relevant teams
  • To communicate with clients, when required, with a non-judgemental and person-centred approach
  • To respond to email enquiries
  • To oversee administrative duties for all referrals into the service including speaking with and meeting prospective clients
  • To keep relevant client information updated
  • To provide management with reports when requested including reports for the local authority.
  • To liaise with and provide administrative support to all the relevant departments within the organisation:
  • To maintain the Health & Safety of the office area whilst ensuring the office is always clean and tidy.
  • To create agendas and minutes of meetings
  • To adhere to SHS Policies and Procedures at all times
  • To follow the GDPR and retention of data policies for the storage and disposal of client information
