Description
Description At Nadeau Furniture with a Soul, no two pieces of furniture are the same — and neither are our team members. Our Chicago location is looking for a Part-Time Showroom Sales Associate who’s equally comfortable helping customers on the sales floor and handling the physical side of store operations. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who enjoys staying active while still connecting with customers. What You’ll Do: • Assist customers in finding one-of-a-kind furniture & décor (no cookie-cutter pieces here!) • Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and moving inventory • Safely lift and move furniture (50+ lbs regularly) • Help maintain an organized, efficient stockroom and sales floor • Assist with merchandising and floor flow • Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals Requirements What We’re Looking For: • Must have reliable transportation • Must be willing and able to lift furniture weighing 50+ lbs on a daily basis • 1–2 years of retail or sales experience required • Basic math and computer skills required • Comfortable engaging with customers and closing sales • Weekend availability is a must • Flexible schedule • Professional, positive, and able to follow direction Why Join Us? • Competitive hourly pay • Paid sick leave to support your health and well-being • Supplemental benefits offered by Aflac • Generous 45% employee discount – almost half off furniture with a soul • Supportive, down-to-earth culture (we’re not corporate!) • Creative, hands-on work environment If you enjoy staying active, working with your hands, and helping customers find meaningful pieces for their homes, we’d love to meet you.
