Description Location: On-Site at School-Based Program - Youngsville Academy Reports To: Area Director Schedule: Part-Time (Before & After School, School Breaks, and Summer Programs) 25 hours per week, including required hours of Monday-Friday: 6:15AM-7:30AM and 3PM-6PM NOTE: This is a year-round school that has unpaid breaks scheduled throughout the year. There may be opportunities for hours during breaks at a neighboring Innovation Learning program. We are looking for a candidate who is available to start as soon as possible. Pay: $19-24/hour, based on experience and education Position Overview The Head Coach serves as the leader of an after-school program site, creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children. This hands-on leadership role combines youth development, staff supervision, program operations, and relationship building with families and school partners. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and passionate about helping children build confidence, resilience, and life skills. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students. Facilitate engaging enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character-building activities. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment. Manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures. Team Development Supervise and support site staff. Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members. Lead staff meetings and promote a positive team culture. Family & School Partnerships Build strong relationships with students, families, and school personnel. Communicate program updates, successes, and student needs. Represent the organization professionally within the school community. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate program records and documentation. Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and behavioral concerns. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead staff while actively engaging with children. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
