Hornig Companies is seeking a responsible, dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Site Manager to lease and maintain our 24-unit property in Young America, MN. This is a flexible part-time position. Free 3 Bedroom Apartment in exchange for duties; living on-site is required.   What would my responsibilities include? 1. Administrative duties, including recertification paperwork.  2. Showing and leasing available apartments 3. Coordinate the move-in/move-out process 4. Manage overall cleanliness of the property, including regular cleaning of the common areas 5. Apartment turnover cleaning 6. Seasonal grounds keeping, including shoveling under 1 inch 7. Light maintenance of the building; for example, changing lightbulbs and assisting our Maintenance Technicians during emergencies 8. Work with vendors and the internal maintenance team for timely completion of unit turns, maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance 9. Facilitate all day-to-day operations of the properties as required 10. Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional rapport with all residents, applicants, vendors and staff. 11. Take a hands-on approach to any necessary duties to accomplish objectives  12. Communicate with residents in a caring, compassionate manner that upholds Hornig Companies’ customer service reputation as well as Fair Housing guidelines What should I bring to the team? 1. At least 1 year office and/or administrative experience or similar  2. Customer Service experience is required, prior leasing experience is a plus 3. Strong work ethic and desire to assist our residents in finding their home with us and maintaining a great place to live 4. Detail orientation and attention to accuracy  5. Excellent written and verbal communication 6. Strong customer service skills 7. Strong computer skills including MS Office. Yardi software experience preferred 8. Affordable housing experience is a plus
Responsibilities
The manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing, administrative paperwork, and resident relations. They must also perform light maintenance, cleaning, and coordinate with vendors to ensure the property is well-maintained.
