Description CRCC is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative Part-Time Special Education Teacher/Coach to work with our Level 3 program. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team dedicated to helping every child reach their full potential. This position is part-time and you will be working 20 hours per week. This is at our SW Center location based off of 138th and Q Street. The start date for this position will be early August 2026. The Starting Pay for this position is $30-$40 per hour. Position Overview This role will primarily support a structured Level 3 classroom serving young students with autism and/or significant behavioral needs, most of whom are nonverbal and have demonstrated significant enough behaviors that have led to placement outside their home school or district. Key Responsibilities Support instruction and programming in a structured Level 3 special education classroom Collaborate with teachers, therapists, paras and behavior specialists to implement individualized strategies Assist in developing and implementing IEP goals and behavior intervention plans Provide coaching and support to classroom staff on evidence-based practices Foster a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Maintain clear communication with team members and families as appropriate Benefits CRCC also offers excellent benefits for part-time employees. For Casual and Part-time employees'- who work 15-29 hours per week and Part-time 30 plus hours worked per week, who work at least 80 hours of consecutive employment in a calendar year, will accrue one hour per each 30 hours worked with an accrual cap of 56 hours. Holiday policy for paid holidays for part-time staff that average 15 to 35 hours a week, will be paid the average daily hours worked up to a maximum of 4 hours. CRCC employees' who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for health, dental and vision benefits. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Valid Special Education teaching license (or ability to obtain) Experience working with students with autism and/or significant behavioral needs preferred Knowledge of structured teaching, behavior supports, verbal behavior programs (VBP) and communication strategies and devices (e.g., AAC) Strong collaboration and communication skills Passion for working with diverse learners and commitment to inclusive practices

Responsibilities

The role involves supporting instruction and programming in a structured Level 3 special education classroom and collaborating with various educational professionals to implement individualized strategies. The teacher/coach will also assist in developing IEP goals and behavior intervention plans while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
