Hospital/Clinic Address: 209 W Hickory St Sylacauga, Alabama 35150 Work Schedule: flexible part-time scheduling (20 hours/week) What You Will Get In addition to the standard benefit offering, you can expect to receive: Competitive compensation with ability to earn additional weekend and holiday rates Local and national organization dues and license renewal reimbursement Structured mentoring and quarterly in-person or online continuous education courses through MedBridge memberships Experience working with a diverse patient population in neuro, trauma, and ortho Paid Time Off (PTO) and either Sick Leave or Extended Illness Bank (EIB) accrual (dependent on state laws) Reimbursement for endurance race entry fees Your Responsibilities as an Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc) Qualifications Graduate of a CAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply Basic Life Support certification Modified Barium Swallow Study experience preferred Compensation Pay Range: $69,000 - 101,000/annually (Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position) A Mission That Moves Us At PT Solutions, we are a team united by a shared purpose: expanding access to transformative care.
