As our next Part-time Stationary Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of overseeing the steam plant. Your expertise in stationary engineering will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting the Chief Stationary Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of the power plant.
- Performing water testing on boilers and cooling systems and making adjustments to control systems to maintain ideal operating conditions.
- Making routine rounds to check on plant equipment, maintaining manual and computerized logs, and creating work repair requests.
- Assisting other plant maintenance staff in equipment repairs, maintaining a high level of housekeeping, and reporting all activities to the Chief Stationary Engineer.
- Troubleshooting process problems and initiating corrective action to increase productivity.
- Attending meetings as required.
- Maintaining/monitoring/testing/logging all steam generating requirements by operation code.
- Performing routine equipment maintenance and installations as per the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Adhering and Supporting Safety and Environmental policies and practices.
- Ensuring the requirements of the Quality Management System, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 are conformed to.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Comfortable working part-time on weekends and to cover vacations
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a 4th Class Stationary Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
