CASHIER/CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST “SPIRIT GUIDE” (Part-time):
Company: 1933 Liquor Co. is Vancouver’s newest, boutique liquor and wine store.

Position: Cashier/Customer Service Representative
Role Summary: We’re seeking bubbly team members to serve our high-spirited community! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who’d like to join a company from its launch period and learn from it — you’ll gain experience in store opening, brand development, and customer-relationship management. The ideal candidate for this role is outgoing, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires standing, lifting 20-30 lbs cases of alcohol, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, interacting with customers, and working with POS machines. Retail store experience is an asset, but it’s not required; if you have a great attitude and are ready to learn, then we’d love to welcome you to the 1933 team! Our goal is to build an upbeat and inclusive work environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Sales - assisting customers; answering their questions and making knowledgeable recommendations
• Cashier work - checking out customers using a POS machine
• Inventory - counting inventory, moving inventory, unpacking boxes, and stocking shelves
• General cleaning - sanitizing, dusting, and sweeping
• Online orders - preparing and packaging
• Private events - assisting with tasting events

Requirements:

• Must have excellent communication skills - you will be required to interact with clients in professional and engaging manner
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be able to work on evenings and weekends
• Must have, or obtain, Serving It Right certification by job start date
• Must be able to legally work in Canada

Hours: Part-time (15-20 hours/week)
Compensation: $18.00/hr
