Post-operative duties: Apply dressings, assist with patient transfer, monitor for immediate complications, and communicate with the medical team for continuity of care. Instrument and equipment handling: Maintain and manage sterile instruments and equipment during the procedure. Required qualifications Education: Graduate of a surgical assistant program or an associate degree.
