Description

The part-time Extended Care Teacher at St. Mark School in Catonsville, MD, will be responsible for the care and supervision of children before and after the school day. Their primary responsibility is the safety and well-being of the children in their care, while also providing some instruction or educational support. We are currently seeking Extended Care Teachers for positions to be filled for the 2026–2027 school year. This position will work 15-20 hours per week. Essential Functions * Implement a program of instruction that adheres to the goals and objectives of the program. * Make observations, collect data, and give input to Director. * Maintains confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees. * Responsible for the safety and active supervision of students at all times. * Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and school administration. Position Qualifications * Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour child care certification. * Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred. * An appreciation for young students and their families. * Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools. *To be considered for a teaching opportunity and to assist with determining compensation, the following documentation is required to be uploaded with your application: Resume, application certifications, licensures (PEL), transcripts, and reference contact information.
