UWCSEA East has a vacancy for a Part-Time Teacher of Tamil for our Home Languages Programme (HLP) from November 2025.
The Home Languages Programme is for students who want to maintain a language spoken at home but who do not study this language as part of the academic curriculum during the school day at appropriate level.
The students’ a ges are from 4 to 1 8 y ears o ld. HLP classes are taught in small groups of 3 to 6 students of similar a ges and linguistic levels and will take place after school (or at lunchtime for some younger students).

• Thoroughly plan, prepare and teach classes addressing the various levels of students in the class. (Differentiation)
• Exhibit excellent classroom management skills.
• Use digital resources to enhance students’ learning.
• Provide samples of students’ learning in the school online learning platform for parents to follow students’ progress.
• Provide feedback to parents, when required
