For more information about the University, please visit https://www.hkmu.edu.hk We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in the research project “Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Regarding End-of-Life Care Among South Asian Minorities in Hong Kong: A Pilot Study” (PFDS/2025/12). The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following: assisting the PI in conducting quantitative surveys. assisting the PI in analysing data collected from conducting quantitative surveys; and providing assistance in areas related to the research project. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at HKMU, majoring in Social Sciences/Psychology; demonstrated knowledge of quantitative data collection and analysis (knowledge of SPSS is preferred); proficiency in both written and spoken English and Southeast Asian Languages (e.g. Hindi, Urdu, and Nepali); and prior experience working with South Asian ethnic minority groups is highly advantageous. Terms and Conditions for Appointment The successful candidates will be appointed on a temporary part-time fixed-term contract.
