Do you know your way around electronic equipment, software, and online resources? Are you passionate about helping people find solutions to their technology problems? Join our team! Cook Memorial Public Library District is seeking a tech-savvy individual with a strong commitment to providing superior library service on our public computers and digital studios. HOURS: Approximately 12 hours per week. Prefer flexibility to fill in/trade other evening/weekend hours as needed. • Tuesday evenings: 5-9 pm • Thursday evenings: 5-9 pm • Saturday mornings: 9 am-1 pm DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist patrons with use of Library computers, printers, copiers, electronic devices, and digital studio applications. • Conduct workshops and 1-on-1 appointments on digitizing analog media and setting up recording sessions in the digital studios. • Troubleshoot computer and equipment problems. REQUIREMENTS: • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Desire to learn new technology and digital services. • Working knowledge of Windows, MacOS, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Internet browsers. • Skills in studio recording, Logic Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D printing, and/or graphic design a plus. • High school diploma/GED required. • Reliable and willing to fill in extra hours when necessary. • Ability to speak Spanish desirable, but not required. SALARY AND BENEFITS: $20.00 per hour, 457 savings plan, paid leave, and scheduled holidays. Cost of living and merit increases. An Equal Opportunity Employer
