About the Part- Time Teller Role Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Teller, where exceptional customer service and operational excellence meet. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a vital role in delivering personalized banking experiences while ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance. Key Responsibilities * Customer Transactions: Accurately and efficiently process deposits, check cashing, and withdrawals, verifying cash and endorsements, and issuing receipts with meticulous attention to detail. * Product & Service Promotion: Cross-sell and educate clients on the Bank’s diverse financial products and services, enhancing client relationships and fostering financial wellness. * Payment Processing: Handle credit card payments, issue money orders, bank checks, and accept loan payments, ensuring accuracy and security. * Secure Handling of Assets: Manage night deposit bags, admit clients to safe deposit boxes, and maintain confidentiality and security at all times. * Client Support & Inquiries: Respond promptly to customer questions, provide account balances, and assist with general banking needs, cultivating a welcoming environment. * Reconciliation & Record Keeping: Perform end-of-day balancing of transactions, verify cash totals, and reconcile Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). Maintain detailed reports and logs to ensure compliance and accurate record retention. Qualifications Required * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Prior experience in customer service and cash handling. * Strong verbal communication skills. * Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively. * Ability to work collaboratively within small teams. * Fluent in English; bilingual a plus * Access to reliable transportation * Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development. * Ability to lift 10–20 lbs., stand for extended periods. Preferred * Previous banking or financial services experience. Schedule Part-time position with hours aligned to branch operations: * Mon–Thu: 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM * Fri: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM * Sat: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (rotating schedule) * Sun: Closed Employees may need to remain 15–30 minutes after closing.
