The Part-Time Findlay Family YMCA Tennis Pro will work with the Head Tennis Pro and the management staff at the YMCA to operate a robust tennis program for the community at the YMCA. Essential Functions This position requires regular, predictable, reliable attendance. 1. Conduct private and group lessons for adults and juniors. 2. Teach adult drills ranging in NTRP level from 2.5-5.0. 3. Instructs junior and adult tennis lessons, including but not limited to private lessons, camps, clinics, USTA team practices and new member evaluations. 4. Participate in the public relations & promotion of the YMCA Tennis Programs and The University of Findlay Tennis Programs. 5. Ability to teach players of all ages and ability levels. 6. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves continually during working hours. Is subject to lifting over 50 pounds. Must be able to lift raise or lower an object from one level to another (includes upward and pulling motion) of 50-75 lbs. and must be able to carry/transport an object/equipment weighing 50-75 lbs. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a non-benefited part-time 12-month position, and hours of work and days may vary. Candidate must be available Sunday-Saturday. Travel No travel is required for this position. Required Education and Experience 1. High School diploma. Preferred Education and Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree. Responsibilities
