Description

Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Part-time Test Drivers to drive pre-production vehicles for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. This part time test driver position offers flexible scheduling with an AM day shift available, and is based out of Wittmann, AZ. Test drivers will evaluate pre-production vehicles, providing feedback on issues, vehicle function, comfort and performance. Part time test drivers will drive in small groups on designated routes for 8 to10 hour shifts while performing test procedures. Whether you're a seasoned professional, a veteran, or a retiree looking for a flexible, rewarding gig - this is your chance to get behind the wheel of the latest pre-production vehicles and help shape the future of automotive innovation. The ideal candidate will possess 2 years of U.S. driving experience with a valid license and a good driving record. Shifts: * AM day shift: 6:00 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Sunday) Requirements of General drivers: * Must be at least 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent * Must have a valid driver’s license with minimum of 3 years’ driving experience with an excellent driving record and have reliable transportation * Must be able to work shifts that include overnight stays out of state as needed * Available to work flexible schedule and/or weekends as needed * Possess automotive knowledge and be able to check basic vehicle components * Detail oriented & able to complete required paperwork including vehicle checklist and composition of reports * Be a self-starter, self-motivated & willing to learn * Have strong verbal & written communication skills Preferred: * Basic computer skills * Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmission * Ability to work shifts that require overnight stays, may be out of state * Ability to work a variety of shifts as needed Retirees and veterans are welcome.
