For more information about the University, please visit https://www.hkmu.edu.hk We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Arts and Social Sciences: Major Duties and Responsibilities The appointees will mainly be responsible for the course planning, development and delivery of an Associate of General Studies programme for target groups of inmates in the Ethics College which is established by the Correctional Services Department. The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following: Conducting lectures and tutorials, writing lecture notes; Designing and marking of assignments/examination scripts and; Performing other related teaching and administrative duties. Candidates Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence: Requirements for relevant course(s) are specified as follows: CHIN 1802ACD 中國歷史概論 申請者須持有認可學士學位,主修中國歷史或相關學科。具相關教學經驗者可獲優先考慮。 ECON 2802ACD 宏觀經濟學導論 申請者須持有認可學士學位,主修經濟學,並對香港經濟問題有認識。持有較高學位、並具相關教學或工作經驗者可獲優先考慮。 PTH 2801ACD 中級普通話(二) 申請者須持有認可學士學位,主修中國語 文、中國語言學或相關科目,具最少兩年在 本港教授普通話經驗,並熟悉漢語拼音及廣州話。持有普通話水平測試證書者可獲優先考慮。 SOSC 1822ACD 社會科學基礎課程:社會學 申請者須持有認可學士學位或以上學歷,主修社會學或相關學科。具相關教學或工作經驗者可獲優先考慮。 Duration of Appointment The appointees will be required to work during daytime at Lo Wu Correctional Institution, Pak Sha Wan Correctional Institution and/or Pik Uk Prison for the period from January 2026 to May 2026 for a maximum of 17 hours per week.
