Learn2Code.Live offers student-centered, highly engaging and interactive in-person videography classes for K-12 students. The company is looking for enthusiastic, high-energy Coding and Robotics instructors for its classes offered in Los Angeles, CA.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Very comfortable with technology and using computers
  • Ability to think on feet and be assertive and creative to keep students engaged while teaching
  • Must be empathetic towards students and able to use different teaching methods as required to explain concepts
  • Must be comfortable teaching kids including elementary, middle and high school students
  • Must be able to work in a classroom environment
    Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
    Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning
  • Be punctual, reliable, organized and efficient to run an effective class
  • Follow the provided curriculum and lesson plans, set student’s goals, motivate and guide students to provide an enjoyable learning experience
  • Monitor student progress, advise students and provide feedback and support to students as required to meet student outcomes and course objectives
  • Inspire and motivate students; identify learning styles and apply a variety of teaching methods as required
  • Work effectively with students, teachers and parents to achieve course goals
  • Provide feedback from classroom experience into curriculum development, instructional methods, objectives and philosophy
  • Work independently and be a self-starter
  • Communicate via email and phone with us as needed
