Annunciation Orthodox School is looking for qualified candidates for a Part-time Volleyball Coach.

Reports to: Director of Physical Education and Athletics
Status: Part-time/Stipend
Start Date-End Date: August 11, 2025-October 24, 2025
Work Schedule: 1:30-4:30 PM Monday-Friday

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
  • Past experience in playing and/or coaching in the sport as well as well-rounded knowledge of physical conditioning and skill development methods specific to the sport
  • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to set up and put away volleyball nets, poles, balls, and other equipment

Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic guidance and training to the AOS Volleyball Program in the skill development and personal growth of the student-athletes on the teams
  • Adhere to and support all rules, protocols, and systems outlined in the AOS Athletics Handbook
  • Attend afternoon practices for 6th grade (1:40-2:35 PM) and/or 7th/8th grade (2:40-4:30 PM) Monday-Friday
  • Attend all after school games and possible Saturday tournaments
  • Ensure student-athletes are properly supervised at all times
  • Work closely with other AOS volleyball coaches
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for students and staff
  • Supervise students on the bus when traveling to away matches
  • Provide parents appropriate feedback and information as needed for their students to have a successful experience
