JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking part time waiting staff & kitchen assistants to work with us in our cafe at Tattersalls during the horse sales period to provide excellent service to our customers in a bustling cafe environment.
Experience is not essential, training and support will be given. What is most important is that you are reliable, punctual, enthusiastic and are able to engage with our customers in a professional and positive manner. You must be prepared to work hard and keep smiling even on the busiest days, while being constantly on your feet and working proactively as part of a hard working team. You will need to be able to get yourself to and from work.
We are looking for staff that are available to work in shifts Monday - Sunday from 5.45am-12noon or 12pm-6pm. The days are flexible so you could accept work on all days or certain days and a mix of morning or afternoon shifts, we can be flexible to suit your availability and work around other commitments that you may have.
This would suit a candidate that is looking to pick up extra hours, rather than a full time job, as the cafe is open only during the Tattersalls sales 2nd - 17 October then 25 October - 31st October 2025.

SKILLS

• Basic maths for till operation accuracy
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Excellent customer service skills and professional, positive manner
  Pay: £9.50-£14.00 per hour
