Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient focused clinical services as deemed eligible and appropriate for the patients and document accordingly
  • Administer injections/immunizations
  • Accurately dispense all prescriptions - including verifying and checking prescriptions
  • Provide professional advice and applicable dialogue with patients on prescription and OTC products
  • Supervising and directing pharmacy assistants
  • Counsel of patients in regards to new and additional medications
  • Other tasks necessary to the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy

Education

  • Licensed and in good standing as a pharmacist with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a pharmacist in Alberta
  • Computer proficiency with Kroll Software
  • Injection Certification and valid CPR certification
  • Additional Prescribing Authority (preferred)

Schedule

  • Weekends (Saturday 10AM-4PM, Sunday 9:30AM-3PM)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
