Description Overview The Orthopaedic Institute is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time X-Ray / Medical Assistant (BMO) to support our Jupiter clinic. This hybrid position plays a key role in both clinical operations and diagnostic imaging, providing compassionate, efficient patient care in a fast-paced orthopedic setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day — alternating between performing x-rays and assisting providers with patient rooming, vitals, and clinical support. Why Join Us? Responsibilities Perform high-quality digital x-rays in accordance with Florida regulations and TOI protocols Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits, including vitals, documentation, and follow-up tasks Support patient flow to ensure timely and efficient clinic operations Maintain radiology and clinical equipment; ensure daily QA checks are completed Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and front office staff to deliver excellent patient care Support supply inventory, stocking, and room turnover Follow all HIPAA and safety policies Requirements Qualifications Current Florida X-Ray License or BMO required. Previous experience in orthopedics or outpatient clinical settings preferred. Strong communication and multitasking skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Basic computer and EMR proficiency required. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel, and reach with hand and arms. Occasionally lift/move/push/pull 50 pounds. Employee should use his/her best judgment in assisting patients and should seek assistance if moving or lifting a patient would exceed the 50 pound limit required for this position. Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding). Travel may be required to existing or new TOI locations.
