Matrec une division de GFL Environnemental agrandit son équipe d’acquisition de talents et est à la recherche d’un(e) partenaire d’acquisition de talents qui sera basé à notre bureau de Montréal-Est
Dans ce rôle, tu seras responsable de l’ensemble du cycle de recrutement, incluant l’examen, la présélection et la recommandation de candidats qualifiés pour notre secteur des matières résiduelles solides et du recyclage. À titre de partenaire stratégique pour les unités d’affaires que tu soutiens, tu piloteras des initiatives clés dans ta région désignée. Tu auras aussi à développer des relations avec les communautés locales et nos opérations afin d’identifier les meilleurs talents.
Ce poste te permettra d’acquérir de l’expérience en recrutement terrain, en appui à la croissance des opérations de première ligne dans ta région, tout en participant à différents projets RH et Talent au besoin.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College or University degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in full cycle recruiting, with strong transferable experience across operational industries preferred.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle.
  • Weekly travel to facilities across GTA and Southern ON required.
  • Workday Experience preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge of employment standards, employee relations, benefits, and onboarding.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong ethical judgment and commitment to confidentiality
Responsibilities
  • Manage full cycle recruiting by partnering with field operations leadership to determine staffing needs within an assigned territory.
  • Review and qualify applicant resume in accordance with hiring manager’s needs.
  • Conduct preliminary phone interviews to assess talent fit for teams.
  • Coordinate phone, virtual and in-person interviews between top candidates and hiring teams.
  • Coordinate appropriate assessments as needed.
  • Making recommendations on hiring decisions.
  • Create and extend offer letters.
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to attract quality candidates, such as career fairs, community networking events, and more.
  • Manage college and university partnership programs.
  • Organizing pre-employment screening for prospective employees.
  • Create and develop sourcing strategies as needed.
  • Partner with HR to assist with internal employee transfer process.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the achievement of staffing goals.
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations within your region.
  • Manage current candidate activity in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Workday.
