BUSINESS SPECIFIC EXPERIENCES:

  • Functional SAP experience in the SAP FI/CO area, either as a business user or in IT
  • Experience participating in at least one SAP implementation, either as a business stakeholder or on the technical team
  • Knowledge across the order to cash and procure to pay value chain in SAP

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates should have a strong foundation in either IT or finance, with demonstrated experience or training in the complementary area (e.g., IT professionals with finance training, or finance professionals with IT-related work experience)
  • Typically, 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst or related roles.
  • Aptitude for breaking down work into manageable parts and effectively assessing the priority and time to complete each part.
  • Experience working with multiple, diverse technologies in various processing environments.
  • Proven experience analyzing, documenting, and designing business processes in the context of processes/services/products/software and integration. (preferred)
  • Experience working in DevOps and Agile technology environments. (preferred)
  • Proficiency/fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the liaison between the business community and IT, holding the long-term relationship with the Business. Also, act as an escalation point for the Business as it relates to any service delivery issues and communicate such issues to external providers.
  • Engage with stakeholders via workshops, meetings, interviews, etc. to define the business rules/requirements and the vision that the product or solution needs to support.
  • Use strong business and technology acumen to document and translate business requirements into technical system requirements and/or user stories.
  • Develop specifications and other artifacts for agile teams.
  • Recommend changes to existing applications, software, and products, working with technical teams to implement and test changes.
  • Support opportunities to streamline business processes, define swim lanes, automate, and improve technology solutions.
  • Formulate ideas for product improvement and work with Product Owners / Managers in prioritizing and organizing backlog and providing product demonstrations.
  • Educate business functions about IT processes, roles, and capabilities
  • Works to communicate and understand concerns related to IT alignment/standards across departments
