ABOUT THE DIVISION

The Regional Division operates seven Regional Centres (Bairnsdale, Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Mildura, Moe, and Shepparton). The Division is responsible for the delivery of Academy flagship and localised professional learning, forums and statewide conferences. The teams undertake engagement with government, Catholic, and independent schools and sectors to facilitate professional learning that is aligned to high-quality Academy standards across the state.
The Regional Division works closely with the Academy’s other Divisions for seamless participant support and customer service, overarching end-to-end program management, learning space and technology management and coordination of statewide program delivery.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Participant and Program Support Officer supports the Mildura Regional Centre team in the provision of high-quality professional learning, contextualised and responsive to the needs of school leaders and teachers in Mildura and surrounding areas. The role works directly with participants to provide program resources, room-set-up support (including in a virtual space), and high-quality customer service from program inception and participant registration through to program conclusion.
The role is also a key administrative function and support to the Mildura Regional Centre, leading the engagement and management of localised facilities-management service providers to ensure effective and safe operation of the Mildura Regional Centre.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Demonstrate initiative, experience and knowledge in customer service and the planning and organising of professional learning events.
  • Work cooperatively to support a high performing team dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience.
  • Participate in ongoing development and training to ensure you are across any updates to key policies procedures.
