JOB SUMMARY

Recruits, onboards, and manages key partner relationships at a Regional level (reseller, referral, and agent), leveraging Account Plans to drive enterprise market adoption of integrated Equinix/Partner solutions to achieve channel/company new bookings and enterprise new logo growth objectives.
As a key member of the German Partner and Alliances team within the EMEA Channel Sales Department, the Partner Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our German partners. This role is crucial for driving the adoption of integrated Equinix and partner solutions in the German market, contributing to our channel and company growth objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and are excited about building and nurturing relationships within the German market. While Equinix is a well-established company, our Channel sales motion is evolving, and your adaptability will be key.
  • You possess a solid understanding of Cloud Service provider business models, managed Hybrid IT services, and shifting cloud consumption models relevant to the German market.
  • Your skills in partner relationship management, program execution, cross-functional coordination, project management, and results measurement are well-honed.
  • You are adept at designing and presenting business plans, tracking program progress, and documenting guidelines for both internal and external use.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement market access strategies tailored to the market, while maintaining and strengthening business relationships with assigned partners.
  • Identify, recruit, and enable strategic resellers (MSP/SI) aligned with our Alliance Partners, collaborating closely with channel sales colleagues to maximize impact.
  • Work alongside EMEA and global Platform Partner team members to enhance joint value propositions and achieve partner objectives specific to the German market.
  • Oversee the targeting, growth, and closing of joint pipelines and deals, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals in Germany.
  • Measure and report on the success of assigned partners, offering actionable insights to drive performance.
