Description:
The Red Hat Sales team is seeking a Partner Account Manager to join us in Mexico City, Mexico. In this role, you will manage the channel businesses for Telecom, Media and Entertainment for Mexico. You’ll develop and support a strategy to grow the channels business that aligns with the Red Hat Mexico business goals and the Latin America (LATAM) regional channel strategy.
Responsible for selling the company’s products; primary responsibility may include finding, generating and developing new OEM/VAR partners in order to sell the company’s products to end-users. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing OEM/VAR accounts.
What you will do:
- Sell Red Hat’s solutions to, through and with our partners
- Drive Red Hat’s revenue and customer value by connecting aligned partners with the right capabilities to solve customers’ needs to sales opportunities, through joint account planning, lead sharing, and marketing/demand-generation activities
- Grow partner portfolio of Red Hat technologies and solutions
- Build executive relationships with key partner executives
- Participate in ongoing training and enablement within the partner ecosystem
- Work with Global Partner Managers to identify key sales counterparts at partners GTM teams
- Understand how Red Hat’s solutions enable next-generation architectures-leveraging containers
- Achieve sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives
- Create partner business plans that align with Red Hat’s growth expectations
What you will bring:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience with Partners
- Thorough understanding of telecommunications, media and entertainment partner ecosystem and key players
- Ability to work with partner and alliance c-level executives on business plans, budgets, and go-to-market plans
- Excellent leadership & communication skills, with ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization
- Strong understanding of customers within assigned territory, including customers’ business, industry trends, competitive landscape, and Red Hat differentiators/ value proposition
- Passion for open source technology
- Successful background selling with key partners in the assigned region
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, or a technical discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
