Did you know that Zalando empowers brand partners to run data-driven marketing campaigns across 25 markets on Zalando and beyond? Zalando Marketing Services (ZMS) is Zalando’s 360° retail media unit, enabling a large range of exciting brands with data-driven marketing, bespoke branding and creative solutions, as well as performance-focused advertising.
As a Partner Marketing & Communications Manager, you are responsible for marketing and communications towards Zalando partners. This role is dedicated to the marketing services and opportunities of ZMS, helping partners to understand how to run effective marketing campaigns on Zalando and beyond. The position has a particular focus on partner communication channels such as CRM/email-based marketing, partner webinars, and marketing content across multiple touchpoints. You will translate digital marketing, commercial, and solution topics into actionable marketing insights, recommendations, and content for Zalando brand partners.
In this role, you will work closely with a wide range of experts and stakeholders including commercial, marketing, solution/service, and partner consultancy teams to plan partner marketing measures. To succeed, you need to be able to derive easy to understand messaging, be a project steering superstar, plan and execute marketing activities across a broader stakeholder group, leverage CRM tooling in a data-driven manner for targeted partner communications, and have an analytical mindset for evaluating marketing outcome.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

You will engage and inform our large partner base via our partner marketing channels and CRM tooling, and keep them up to date on how to run effective advertising campaigns with ZMS. Important for this role is a solid understanding of digital advertising.

  • Marketing planning: You will be responsible for our general partner communication roadmap towards the Zalando partner base, planning marketing activities across various digital marketing topics and opportunities. You steer our communication activities in alignment with other marketing communications teams and ZMS colleagues.
  • Partner information and activation: You help partners to understand the solutions, services and opportunities of ZMS through marketing content, email/CRM based communications, webinars and further relevant channels.
  • CRM and audience management: You are using B2B marketing tooling (such as CRM, emailing and webinar software) for tailored messaging to specific target audiences to ensure truly relevant marketing to our partners.
  • Marketing success analysis: You will evaluate all marketing activities in a data-driven manner, in order to measure success and strive for continuous improvement of marketing impact.
  • Partner content: In close collaboration with various stakeholders, you are creating marketing content for various partner touchpoints including content for web pages, videos, webinars etc.
