JOB SUMMARY

As the Partner Relations Manager at DuraServ, you will be a cornerstone in safeguarding and advancing our business interests by fostering and cultivating robust relationships with our valued partners. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, your mission will be to ensure seamless cooperation between our company and our trusted partners, ensuring they adhere to DuraServ’s best practices and service standards. Your role is pivotal in maintaining a high level of partner engagement and satisfaction, which, in turn, directly impacts our business success.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Expert in building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial partner relationships.
  • Proficiency in strategic partner sourcing and selection aligned with company standards.
  • Exceptional communication skills for conveying expectations and maintaining efficient partner interactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of compliance standards and procurement procedures in national accounts and partner relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including database maintenance.
  • Proactive mentality dedicated to safeguarding and advancing the company and customers through strategic partner management.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (relevant experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Proven track record with 4 – 7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in partner relationship management or similar roles, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing individual contributors with experience in team oversight, including direct management staff.

  • Guardian of Business Interests: Act as a dedicated guardian of our company’s business interests, ensuring partners align with our values, standards, and operational excellence.
  • Strategic Partner Sourcing: Research geographical areas where our services are needed and strategically source partners who meet our stringent criteria, guaranteeing they are aligned with our service requirements.
  • Sourcing Mastery: Employ sourcing strategies that maximize efficiency and yield sustainable partnerships that mutually benefit our national accounts and divisions.
  • Procurement Excellence: Oversee the procurement and screening of potential partners, diligently adhering to company guidelines for national accounts.
  • Partnership Development: Spearheaded the onboarding process for new partners, meticulously guiding them through DuraServ’s best practices and expectations. Establish open lines of communication with all new partners before their official “roll-out.”
  • Partner Relationship Management: Master the art of partner relationship management by facilitating periodic calls and site visits with partners. Create detailed scorecards for each interaction and conduct monthly feedback meetings with Directors to strengthen partner relationships. Scrutinize monthly invoice statements to ensure partners adhere to compliance.
  • Efficient Communication: Demonstrate an unparalleled commitment to communication, ensuring prompt and efficient responses to partner inquiries via shared inboxes (MS Outlook).
  • Customer Service: Skilled in managing high-stress customer interactions with composure and resolution- focused strategies.
  • Negotiation: Proven ability to influence and persuade in high-stake scenarios. Adept at reaching mutually beneficial agreements, demonstrated success in contract negotiation and stakeholder alignment.
  • Database Stewardship: Maintain an up-to-date and accurate partner contact database (MS Excel) to ensure seamless communication and engagement.
  • Clear Expectations: Articulate subcontractor expectations clearly and with care, establishing a solid foundation for successful service partnerships.
