The partner resource Operations (PRO) Business Partner will support the only Starbucks soluble coffee manufacturing plant in the world, plus a state-of-the-art roast & ground coffee operation. In this role, you will be a trusted adviser to our people leaders and hourly partners (employees). This position will be based in Augusta, Georgia. As a Partner Resource Operations (PRO) Business Partner, you will Provide HR support to the plant operations, logistics, quality assurance and maintenance teams Lead talent discussions while partnering with the Learning & Development Team to support hourly & salaried partners' professional growth and career advancement Partner with Talent Acquisition Team to support recruitment & retention efforts Participate in HR projects that impact and improve the entire Manufacturing & Distribution network within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) Analyze Partner Resources program activity, conduct research, prepare reports, and facilitate presentations Collaborate with business leaders to ensure that sound, business decisions are made that fully support the plant operation and partners (employees) Serve as a community champion by supporting the local school system and non-profit organizations to ensure Starbucks serves as an engaged business partner Conduct thorough investigations related to all employment matters Provide consultation support to supervisors while addressing partner conduct, attendance and performance issues, with guidance from the partner resources manager Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations Provide support to all departments within the plant and the GSC network in the absence of the partner resources manager We'd love to hear from people with... Human resources generalist experience, with an emphasis on employee relations, employment law, investigations, training and development (8+ years) Previous work experience in a manufacturing plant and/or distribution center (5+years) B.A. or B.S. degree in Business, Communication, Psychology, Sociology or the equivalent in previous work experience Knowledge of local, federal, and state employment laws and regulations Sound decision making skills and business acumen Capability to work with minimal guidance and direction As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits.
